Riots in Goroka

After some unrest in Port Moresby, riots and looting started in Lae. Targetting officially the Chinese entrepreneurs that own small 'kai-bars' (snackbars) and small businesses. De facto it is an opportunity to have a rampage through town and loot everything. Soon after Lae, it hit kainantu. Further up the highway it hit Goroka on Sunday May 17 2009, and continued big-time on the 18th of May. I'm sure Kundiawa and Mt. Hagen will be next.
